Ship Halted In the Wake of Death of Elderly Lady Left Behind on Island

A extended voyage circling Australia has been cancelled in the wake of the death of an older female passenger who was left behind by the vessel on a remote tropical isle.

Relatives Statement

The child of the deceased woman said that her loved ones was "surprised and grieved that the vessel left the location after an planned outing without my mother".

Via her announcement, she described her parent as an "energetic octogenarian" who was a affiliate of a bushwalking group.

"According to scant facts we have been provided, it appears that there was a failure of care and basic judgment," she stated.

She further stated that she wished the examination would be able to pinpoint what "the operator should have undertaken that might have saved Mother's existence".
