This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs that can help users craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
